The Mayor appoints Committees and Commissions as provided for by the City
Charter, Ordinances and Rules of the Council. Citizens of Port Orford -- and
in some cases the surrounding area -- may apply to fill an opening by picking
up an application form at City Hall Mayor
Auborn at City Hall.
Budget Committee
Provided for by Oregon State law. It is composed of equal numbers of elected
Councilors and appointed citizens. Currently there vacancies on this
committee.

Is reviewing the City Code to insure that it is enforceable and up-to-date.
Finance & Personnel SubCommittee
Works with the City Administrator and the Municipal Treasurer to review the
financial status of the City, and make recommendations to the City Council
and Budget Committee.
Transient Lodging Tax Disbursement Committee
Five member committee that reviews grant requests. Two year terms.
