4/13/2026 – The smoke in town is from CTR burning at the transfer station.

At the last City Council Meeting, we asked CTR management to alert the citizens before they lit the fires. However, after the County’s burn permit was issued, Port Orford CTR personnel lit the fires without the knowledge of their management. Management reached out this morning to let us know about the situation.
