Message from the Mayor and the City Administrator:
I want all Port Orford residents to be confident that your city government and staff are following all recommended precautions to keep us all safe and to do our part to reduce the spread of COVID 19.
The health and well-being of our community is our top priority. We recognize that the COVID-19 virus may impact the community locally, and we are focused on preventing the spread of coronavirus. ‘Social distancing’ is one of the keys to limiting the spread of the coronavirus. Based on the latest guidance from federal, state and local officials, the city will follow the recommendations to limit non-essential, in-person meetings, and postpone or cancel large gatherings.

About Us
Welcome to Port Orford… the oldest town on the Oregon Coast and the most westerly in the 48 states. We are a working fishing port, with an active – and talented – art community, and a great place for visitors who want to enjoy spectacular natural beauty without the crowds.
We love our little piece of authentic small town America and work hard to protect its unique, individual character.
At City Hall, we’re here to serve the people of Port Orford as we work together to make a life. Let us know how we can help.
